FAQs
Is this shawl pattern beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. If you can knit and yarn over, you can make this shawl. The pattern uses simple increases to shape the triangle.
What yarn should I use?
Try Darn Good Yarn’s reclaimed silk or bamboo yarns for a sustainable option. Any DK or light worsted yarn with good drape will work beautifully.
Do I need circular needles?
Yes—using circulars allows the growing shawl to sit comfortably on the cable as the rows get wider.
Can I make it larger or smaller?
Definitely. Simply continue the pattern repeats for more width or stop early for a smaller scarf-sized version.
Can I sell the shawls I make?
No. This digital pattern is for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial resale.
